Aliz McLean joined Infrapont in 2015. She obtained her MA in Economics at the Central European University. She worked as an analyst in the Chief Economist Team of the Hungarian Competition Authority between 2008 and 2012, and then spent 3 months as a visiting researcher at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia, conducting research and interviews on economic methods used in merger control. Between 2012 and 2015, she worked as a senior analyst at the Eltinga Centre for Real Estate Research, writing studies and forecasts, and handling large databases concerning all areas of the real estate market. She teaches courses on econometrics, competition policy and industrial organisation at various institutions of higher education, including Eötvös Loránd University and the International Business School. Her main areas of expertise are competition policy, industrial organisation, and market analyses. She is a native speaker of English.
